Wireless power mats may not available in your neighborhood electronics store, but they will soon coming to a store near you! It is an exciting and emerging technology. There are few companies planning to roll out wireless power pads in late 2009 and some are taking pre-orders.

    Wen Lai – I don’t think any company has come out with cordless power technology for note books, PC, TV or any other large appliances. I think it will come out eventually, but for now only small devices such ipod, iphone, and other mobile phones are supported.

    I doubt they will for laptops or anyother power hungery devices. That much induction would mess with components.
